Aramadhan Mutebi from Busia Uganda is a permaculture teacher and community leader. He came to us with the idea of running permaculture class over six weeks for the children and young adults returned home during the C-19 lock down in Uganda.
Six weeks after and they have explored the basic principles, seen examples and started their own projects. Compost heaps, raised, forest gardens and more.
We thank everyone who supported us through GoFundMe
Where have raised about £500 which has paid for classroom facilities, chairs, lunches and PPE. It is a great example of how we can work together across continents to support permaculture education. Sectpr39 team provided teaching resources, audio clips and more to help steer the course and provide ideas and inspiration throughout.
