The next introduction to permaculture ‘the language of nature’ is at Treflach Farm on Saturday 8th August. (apologies I initially published an incorrect date).
This is a one day workshop at Treflach Farm with the option of visiting a series of permaculture sites on the Sunday in the Llanfyllin area.
As well as introducing you to the farm and its work, the sessions explore the underlying permaculture principles that have enabled the farm to create this much more creative relationship with nature.
Treflach is a 100 acre farm which has been the venue for many of our courses since 2010 and in that time the farm has undergone a transformation.
Sector39 has recently completed a two week full Permaculture Design course at the farm, using a mix of line, teamwork and site visits to created a blended learning experience with the minimum of risk of transmission of C-19. Working outside, eating outside and allowing plenty of space for people to either work with us on farm or via the internet. We are now keen to develop a more regular program after the success of this most recent course.
- Our next event is a permaculture introductions session at Treflach on Saturday 8th August. 11.00 – 4.00 price for the session is £40 + donation to African permaculture
- With sufficient interest there is an opportunity to visit some local permaculture sites (Llanfyllin) as part of a guided tour on Sunday 9th August.
- This includes a community horticulture hub, a heritage orchard and food forest, and a wetland water treatment system.
Full Permaculture Design Course – September 2020 at Trefach Farm. Opportunity for on-farm course, with blended learning options for distance learning also. £220.00 + accommodation options @ Treflach Farm.
(Currently exploring the potential of offering this course due to popular demand.)
